Reminiscences handwritten by Britannia Peter Kennon about her family, friends, school, Tudor Place, and other aspects of her life. She mentions her parents Thomas and Martha Peter, Patty and Charlie who were enslaved at Tudor Place, the family of Sal Twine, primarily Barbara Cole Williams and her daughter Hannah Williams Pope who were also enslaved at Tudor Place. Other people mentioned who were enslaved by the Peters and other family members are Stacia Hepburn, "Aunt Helen", and Will Johnson. The reminiscences also mention the Marquis de Lafayette, Mt. Vernon, George Washington, Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, Congress, Oakland, Woodlawn, Monteverd, the death of Columbia Peter, the marriages of America Peter Williams and John Peter, the Pendletons who rented Tudor Place, Martha Kennon Peter, the convent in Georgetown, Robert E. Lee, the Civil War, Mason's Ferry. Armistead Peter Jr. writes down information about Britannia's wedding party, various notes and corrections.
