According to an oral interview by Eleanor C. Preston, curator, with Osborne Phinizy Mackie, director, the glass descended from Britannia Wellington Peter Kennon to her grandson, Armistead Peter, Jr., to his son, Armistead Peter, 3rd, who presented the drinking glass to his secretary Carolyn Lenz, in ca. 1973. |
