Mrs. Suzanne Bartlett, acquired the watercolor in 1910 from Gay and displayed the work in her Paris apartment on the Rue du Cherche Midi. After his marriage to Mrs. Bartlett's daughter Caroline, Armistead Peter 3rd hung the watercolor in the library at Tudor Place. |
